Disease or circulatory?

[edit]

I removed the disease stub and added a cardiovascular stub, because it seems to me that this is an issue that involves the cardiovascular system only, as all clots do. Of course, I haven't the faintest idea about proper science, so I could be wrong. Thoughts, anyone? Master of Puppets Care to share? 06:25, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have restored the disease stub and removed the cardiovascular stub. The cardiovascular stub is for human anatomy, whereas an embolism is a disease/disorder. I will shortly be proposing a split of the disease stub category to include a cardiovascular disease stub. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 21:20, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I notice the article doesn't mention the presence of hyperkalemia due to acute renal failure. I'm not sure this is the only lab result that would be affected, so I don't want to edit the main article. Eyknough (talk) 06:14, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm in medical school, and while reading my class notes on forensics, I noticed that they said that only 10% of people with fat-embolism die, as opposed to 90% like this article says. Can anyone comment on this discrepancy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.37.58.186 (talk) 00:42, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
