I have made some recent discoveries reference the Freifechter/Federfechter, to include the MarxBruder. My article can be found here: freifechter.com The article is titled Insights into the Fechtschulen and the Federfechter and MarxBruder Guilds. I have been translating several German documents that speak directly to the History of these Guilds. Much of what I see on Wikipedia about Federfechters and MarxBruders is incomplete, and in several instances inaccurate.
