Andrew Yong, I was flicking back in history and user:147.10.141.32 changed "Britain's defence guarantees of Malaysia and Singapore" to "the United Kingdom's defence guarantees of Malaysia and Singapore". Since the United Kingdom is technically the country at that time is that not appropriate? or is there something I am missing about the use of the word United Kingdom in this context. Please discuss. I think the reversion was more to do with the formatting rather than the choice of words, as there was a capital The in the middle of the sentence and a duplicate link to United Kingdom. It is possible I thought it was a cut and paste error. Clearly Britain and the United Kingdom are both acceptable, with the latter more appropriate in the first instance. I don't believe this section as at 2 May 2020 describing UK forces stationed in-country to support the FPDA accurately describes the multi-national composition of forces, especially in regards to RMAF Butterworth. I therefore believe this section, if not amended, should be removed.
