What is Prealps in Germany?
- Voralpen or Alpenvorland, see also de:Alpenvorland. But "Alpenvorland" doesn't imply that it's mountainous, "Voralpen" and "Préalpes" do. Markussep 18:14, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
West of the Alps?
[edit]The Prealps form the outer part of the mountain range of the Alps - the French Prealps are not located west of the French Alps, they are the westernmost portion of the range.
Is there a contrasting view to what I state here, or should the text of the article be changed?
