Questions
[edit]"....... in a row with Rudolf Mauersberger......" falls into one of those English demotic diction traps specially embedded in the language's DNA for detecting strangers, at whom half-bricks are then heaved. Some Wikipedia person whose first language was English English should have picked this up. "Row" can mean "series", which the original clearly intends, but it also, and more commonly, means noise, or noisy quarrel. The appropriate phrase here is probably "line of succession" but it means reconstructing the sentence, which would have to be done with the contributor's agreement. Also the statement that Werner became director of music at Paris Radio in 1939 is either disingenuous, or requires further explanation, in view of his later official role in the German occupation of France. He carried it out, by what one reads, with sensitivity and skill, and made many good friends thereby among French musicians. But clarification is needed.86.131.144.239 (talk) 14:49, 23 January 2016 (UTC)
- You are the one to pick it up: please make the change. Feel free to add, with a source. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:08, 23 January 2016 (UTC)
