It has plenty of references of a semi-famous man, what is the reason for deletion?Salgat (talk) 03:49, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I forgot to add block quotes in the original posting for the biography. (It was a quote from a publication, which given that he authored it, is POV.) I'm working on gathering more refernces now. Thank you for your help! Cyborean (talk) 18:25, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This articel is so POV, he should be deleted before somebody reads it -.- --93.134.175.124 (talk) 15:31, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

why does he wear a wig? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.200.145.242 (talk) 08:18, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder if the carpet matches the drapes. Esillisar (talk) 04:51, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Surely this article is grossly incomplete until a contrasting view is presented about Spivey's credibility, and his status as a "joke" psychic who "knows" this is entertainment and nothing more? Baliset —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.170.252.114 (talk) 00:04, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Afro

[edit]

This entry will be incomplete until it explains why does this person wear a white afro. Reinistalk 14:58, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

w o r d . Anyone posting up to touch? This is required info. 203.171.197.61 (talk) 12:03, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's on his website, GJ doing research. "In his book, Gary says, "This is where my crazy hair-do started: I would color it silver and white when I played music. I didn't want to be a starving musician, so I went into sales. In sales, my psychic abilities really came in handy and so did the crazy hair-do and white clothes. Anyone who saw me would always rememeber me. It wasn't long before I was one of the top salesmen in my company. Eventually, I went into business for myself and, since the crazy look was already working for me, I kept it." source --71.231.181.50 (talk) 17:23, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
By god, that's hair? I thought it was an awesome hat. 142.162.200.95 (talk) 04:07, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 3 April 2021

[edit]

In the section "Appearances", please remove the sentence "He is known for his unique hairstyle, composed of a dense, silver afro wig." Per WP:BLP, this requires a source for claims in the sentence, and the Telegraph article used does not qualify, because it is just repeating material from an unreliable source. I happen to agree that Mr. Spivey is well known for his unique grooming, but this sentence makes multiple claims about Spivey without meeting BLP standards. 50.248.234.77 (talk) 22:21, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Done, good catch, I've removed the sentence per your suggestion. Ericfood (talk | contribs) 07:34, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
