The article says, "When used without qualification, the term latitude refers to geodetic latitude." But there is neither a source for this nor a context provided. Surely there are some contexts in which geodetic is *not* the standard, and geocentric is instead used?

Whenever geocentric latitude is used that I have seen, it is explicitly described as such, not just left for readers to infer. Can you find a contrary example? –jacobolus(t) 21:47, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
