Geography of the Arab League → Geography of the Arab world – Arab League is a an organization. Arab world is the geopolitical/cultural/historical region. This will effect some articles in Template:Arab League, like demographics. Maudslay II (talk) 15:04, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
- Support: the proposed move target would be more recognizable and natural. While the Arab world and the Arab League are two slightly different things (also note, e.g., that we have separate articles for the geography of Europe and the geography of the European Union, and moving or merging the latter with the former would probably fail to gain support), in this case there is a 100% overlap (which is not the case, e.g., for Europe and the European Union), and if we are only going to have an article on the geography of one of the two (as we probably should), it should be on the more natural of the two, i.e., the Arab world. The article would need a fair amount of rewriting though. Apaugasma (talk|contribs) 23:29, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
