Possible improvements

[edit]

I have just completed the assessment of this article for the military history project and feel that this article could be improved by addressing the following:

  • Coverage: the article could be expanded to discuss the subject's life in more detail, discussing early life, military career, later life. Also the actions for which he received his MC could be discussed in depth;
  • Supporting materials: are there any photographs or images that could be used to illustrate the article?
  • Structure: the addition of See also and External links sections would serve to provide readers with more resources relating to this topic;
  • Referencing: once the article is expanded, for a B class review it will require at least one in line citation per paragraph (more if multiple sources are used).

Just a few ideas. If you would like more in-depth comments, please consider adding this article to the discussion on WP:MHPR. Also, if you would like to seek re-assessment in the future, please go to WP:MHA. Hope this helps. AustralianRupert (talk) 15:33, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
