The end of the Gillig Phantom?

[edit]

I recently took a look at Gillig's website at they don't even have the Phantoms listed in their product lines anymore. Could this be the end of the Phantom? Please, someone confirm... 71.99.187.48 (talk) 15:06, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The town I live in, Bloomington, IL operates phantoms and they definitely seem to be obsolete. The town is beginning to replace said phantoms with 35' Gillig Low-floor buses. 173.24.69.163 (talk) 04:51, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Gillig Phantom (school bus)

[edit]

Content is largely duplicated; few properly cited sources SteveCof00 (talk) 11:27, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Put up for discussion, but certainly consider a merge The structure for completing the merge already exists on this article. Also, as both articles share commonality in their sources, no content is truly lost once things are completed properly. Also, a couple of examples to make the case for this are the Crown Supercoach Series II (a variant of the Crown Supercoach) and Thomas WestcoastER (a variant of the Thomas Saf-T-Liner). Along with being competitive vehicles of the Phantom school bus, they are also variants of other vehicles; in WP, they are yet to be given their own articles. --SteveCof00 (talk) 11:42, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
