Explanation of tag

[edit]

@Manuelhp42: Overuse of the term leading to describe organizations he is or was associated with is mentioned explicitly in WP:PEACOCK as something better avoided. State-of-the-art is similar. Recognition and Awards sections, especially when presented in list/resume format, strike me as promotional in form. If a source goes into any depth about why he deserves some award, it's preferable to use it as source that he did that thing than that he won that award. You are correct. The article was very promotional. I just removed the tag after a cleanup. This is the before and this is the after.--Titanchowder (talk) 03:13, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. My name is Melissa and I work for Transcarent (Glen Tullman, CEO). I would like to propose a few changes to the page, starting with the Early life section. I've put together two proposed revisions with explanations here. If anyone is willing to consider these changes (and perhaps a few more later on) it would be greatly appreciated. Best regards. The first edit is certainly appropriate under WP:BLP. Bondegezou (talk) 07:45, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have updated the requested changes as I work down the page. @Bondegezou: said he was only interested in reviewing urgent BLP violations. I'm grateful for the edit he made to the birthdate. My other requests are just routine improvements, so I'll see if anyone else is willing to review my suggestions in accordance with WP:COI. MelissaCarson (talk) 19:17, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
