Gluckstein

[edit]

Her surname was Gluckstein; glbtq.com is in error. She never used her surname professionally, but the Souhami biography is unambiguous -- it even reproduces an ad for her family's tobacco business, Salmon & Gluckstein. —Celithemis 22:30, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

She wanted to be addressed as Gluck or Hig. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.209.230.13 (talk) 12:05, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And "Gluck insisted on being known only as Gluck, "no prefix, suffix, or quotes"" is why the pronoun "she" in the article is so terribly wrong. Gluck may be born with female genital organs but Gluck did not identify as a woman or man or whatever. To name Gluck as a "she" or a woman is due to her own will just wrong. We should respect Gluck's will and should use other gender-free nomenclatures. Susanne Wosnitzka (talk) 00:02, 7 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No given name?

[edit]

Just H.Gluckstein. Why is nobody revealing her first name? Valetude (talk) 22:32, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To feminine. The TRA’s don’t want anyone to know she was female. 2603:7080:BC39:2F3:D8FC:1911:B28A:F778 (talk) 10:03, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

She campaigned for a better quality of oil paint. What exactly was she specifying? Valetude (talk) 14:58, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
