Many facts citing James significance (from credited publications) have been added to this page. The subject has an extensive political history and it is common for individuals with such political backgrounds and work to have Wiki pages citing their involvement. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mdutilepr (talk • contribs) 22:24, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Read this: WP:COI - whether it is common or not does not make it ethical or desirable. If he was incredibly notable, it would not be necessary for people in his employ to create an article about him. – Toon(talk)22:58, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It is strongly discouraged that organisations or individuals connected to the subject edit articles about them. It is also discouraged that PR firms edit here at all, given the nature of the business. Please refrain from editing such articles, and read this guideline. Thanks – Toon(talk) 10:43, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
I also have strong reservations with regard to the notability of this individual. It seems that he has not received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. The sources provided go some way to verifying some of the facts in the article, but nowhere near demonstrating reliability. Note that "Significant coverage" means that sources address the subject directly in detail, and no original research is needed to extract the content. Significant coverage is more than trivial but may be less than exclusive. Given this guy is in the PR business, this seems to be an attempt to advertise on Wikipedia. – Toon(talk)19:22, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
