Steampunk

[edit]

Gotham by Gaslight is NOT steampunk. Enough with that label.

A reasonable opinion but don't remove everything (stub tags, other categories, etc.). (Emperor 00:28, 31 October 2006 (UTC))[reply]
I agree Gotham by Gaslight isn't steampunk; it's a "straight" Victorian setting. Master of the Future, though, has a zepplin with a death-ray and a mechanical pilot... Daibhid C 12:34, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah GbG is more in the "gaslight" genre. I added MotF in after the first person commented as it made sense to have it here and it does clinch the steampunk label. If it were removed to its own section it might take the steampunk aspects with it but fo now I'd suggest it can stay here. (Emperor 13:00, 15 November 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Move?

[edit]

Since the title isn't Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, and doesn't really include Batman anywhere in it, I'm proposing it get moved to Gotham by Gaslight, and this page redirect back there (instead of the opposite, which is what exists now) Darquis 04:13, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Infinite Crisis Game correction

[edit]

I got to here via a link on the Infinite Crisis game page, due to the fact that the setting introduced in this Elseworlds comic was used as a setting for the game as well, with the Gaslight version of Batman and several other new characters from the setting used as playable characters. While I was reading about that inclusion on here though, I noticed that the game was referenced as "due in 2014". In actual fact, the game -- now released -- came out in 2015 according to the page on it. I wasn't able to explain this fully in my edit note, as I accidentally saved the edit before I could finish typing it, but I wanted to make sure the full explanation was attached to it, as I wanted to also justify the wording of it as a "2015 DC game" rather than a "new DC game...due in 2014/due in 2015". The game was released to Steam on March 26, 2015 according to the page on it. 97.102.82.96 (talk) 08:18, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merger Proposal

[edit]

I think Alexandre LeRoi should be merged into this article as it has no reliable third person sources and the information from that article could be used as plot information. Dwanyewest (talk) 20:03, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
