Five-tool talent

[edit]

I removed the line about Grady being a five-tool talent. He's never had an above average arm, and he does not hit for average. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.51.209.212 (talk) 12:51, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ted Sizemore

[edit]

Is he any relation to former MLB Second Baseman Ted Sizemore?

No, he is not related to Ted Sizemore.

personal/family bio stuff

This website describes his mother and father, and notes Grady's "mixed" ancestry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.75.72.211 (talk) 00:20, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Miami Marlins

[edit]

I removed the line about him having signed with the Miami Marlins. This is false. There are no mentions of this anywhere online, on the Marlins' site, any MLB trade rumors or sporting news sources. If a player of his injury history signed a deal like that, there would be news of it everywhere, or rumors from league sources at the least. He is still a free agent.

A piece by Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports from 1/7/13 is the latest news we have on him, quoting his agent Joe Urbon saying that Grady will not sign with a team until he is 100% healthy. “It could be Opening Day. It could be midseason,” Urbon said. “Midseason is more likely.” http://mlbbuzz.yardbarker.com/blog/mlbbuzz/article/latest_on_grady_sizemore/12597607?new_post=true Sizemorefan (talk) 17:06, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
