Content Removal
[edit]I removed the following:
Since October of 1997, a notable ritual has occurred within the lowest basement of Grendel's Den — a ritual denied by some, yet embraced by most. For it has been claimed that if a patron is to espy a tall, hirsute man between the 7th and 13th day of October[1] — who is, ofttimes, compared in appearance with Edward Norton from the film American History X — and subsequently utters the word 'Πεολειχία' (peoleichia) unto him, he will, indeed, lure the patron into the lowest chamber of the dark, malodorus basement, and perform the most foul, barbarous and starkly revolting act fathomable. The act itself generally remains unknown or is, otherwise, seldom uttered; though nevertheless, the very essence of this act is frequently conjectured by many enthusiasts.
For the following reasons:
- It's unencyclopediac in tone
- There's no citation (the given one cannot possibly count as fact)
- It sounds like a prank
- It's extremely vague
Feel free to add it back (I've preserved it above) if you can add support for it. Fogster 19:47, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Tense
[edit]Why is this article written in the past tense? The establishment still exists. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.30.0.26 (talk) 00:19, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
People have been repeatedly changing it to the past tense. I don't understand why. You can see from their Yelp Page [1] that people continue to eat there and review the place. 24.60.203.129 (talk) 02:40, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
