Only surviving bridge?
[edit]The National Register nomination (as quoted on the Iowa Department of Transportation web site), says there are less than twenty surviving bowstring through-arch truss bridges in Iowa.[1] On the other hand, the park brochure makes a more narrow claim: this is the only surviving three-span bowstring through-truss bridge in Iowa.[2] I thought the type of structure to be more significant than the number of spans, so that is what I used in the article. However, discussion is invited.--Condensinguponitself (talk) 19:39, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
