Height of large radio tower
[edit]The height of the large radio tower is according http://www.asiawaves.net/mediumwave-700.htm 180 metres and according http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/onc/txu-pclmaps-oclc-8322829_q_12.jpg 176.78 metres ( 580 ft). Which is the source for 208 metres? Was it shortened? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.228.36.87 (talk) 14:19, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
WP:URFA/2020 notes
[edit]Hi, Orderinchaos. This 2007 Featured article promotion has fallen away from WP:WIAFA standard; hopefully a quick tuneup will bring it back to current standards. Here is a sample list of some problems (not intended to be comprehensive). There is considerable uncited text, bare URLs in the citations, unclear sources (what is Cooper and McDonald?), sections that appear not to have been updated since the article was featured (sample, Suburban development and Demographics and Education), Politics also appears dated, and there are some minor MOS issues that I will address if these bigger problems are fixed. Hopefully a Featured article review can be avoided if the article is restored to standard. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 18:26, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- Checking in over a year later; listing at WP:FARGIVEN. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 23:41, 21 February 2022 (UTC)
- @SandyGeorgia: What does this mean? I assume the article still needs to be improved. Will it be nominated at WP:FAR soon? Steelkamp (talk) 14:55, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
- It means that anyone can list it at FAR after a two-week wait period. Because of the length of WP:FARGIVEN I can't say when anyone will, but it is assumed they will check in here to see if improvements are happening first. It is rare for editors to list an article at FAR if active improvements are underway, but we can't control what individual editors may decide to do. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 20:21, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
