Unsourced personal life information[edit]

Please do not reinsert unsourced information into the article. Particularly unsourced personal life information should not be reinserted. The BLP concerns should be self-evident, but if they're not, have a look at Siegenthaler controversy. Even if information seems uncontroversial on its face, it may not be. At the least, if untrue, it reflects very poorly on Wikipedia to include it. With Anderson, finding sources shouldn't be too terribly difficult, but until such sources are found, the information stays out. UnitAnode 23:55, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Year of Birth[edit]

Most sources, including sources cited for this article, give 1952. Where did 1949 come from? Thisdaytrivia (talk) 18:26, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In Popular Culture[edit]

Anderson and his relationship with William Alexander, the author of "Nantucket Slay-Ride" (ISBN 978-1530118663) is chronicled in that novel's section entitled "New Orleans" whereas they go from general acquaintances trading barbs to becoming good friends.

Harry Laverne Anderson[edit]

"Laverne"? Why? 173.86.62.144 (talk) 17:38, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It may be a family name. Also, "Laverne" used to be a man's name, like Florence, Vivian and Carol. 107.77.229.17 (talk) 04:25, 18 April 2018 (UTC)HelenChicago[reply]

Year of Birth[edit]

In what source did this information say that he was born in 1949? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.38.189.88 (talk) 12:26, 23 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Year of Birth III[edit]

He was born in 1952, not 1949, this is very inaccurate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.38.189.88 (talk) 13:19, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Charity work[edit]

Early work[edit]

I have an image from the University of Texas at Arlington yearbook that shows a young Harry Anderson performing on campus. The year was October 1975. Not sure if this falls under fair use and if it should be included in the article. Jbrucehowie (talk) 21:13, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

IT[edit]

Why is IT not in the filmography? It is listed in a paragraph but not in the list 152.36.189.200 (talk) 01:42, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's listed in the Television table, it's a TV miniseries. - FlightTime (open channel) 01:48, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
