"A younger half-brother was the parodist and caricaturist Max Beerbohm"
[edit]As their mothers were sisters, they were also first cousins. Kostaki mou (talk) 18:17, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
- The DNB days they were half-brothers. What is your source? -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:09, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
- No problem here. If they shared one parent, then they were half (not step) brothers. And they could have been first cousins as well. Valetude (talk) 01:14, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
Death
[edit]According to Constance Collier's memoirs, he was visiting her in her cottage on the Sussex coast when he fell downstairs, causing his fatal injury. Valetude (talk) 11:21, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
- What is the full bibliographic cite, including page number? Would you quote the passage here on the Talk page, please? -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:41, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry, can't really help on this. It was just something I remembered from reading it years ago. Valetude (talk) 16:09, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
Drama School in London
[edit]Apparently Herbert Beerbohm Tree established a drama school in London. Actors Gordon Richards and Roland Young were trained at that school according to this source: "Gordon Richards, 70, Actor On Broadway and in Films". The New York Times. January 17, 1964. I would have added the info to the article, but the school is not mentioned and its difficult to know when exactly it was operating other than sometime before WWI.4meter4 (talk) 17:34, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- I think you mean the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, yes? This is mentioned in the article. -- Ssilvers (talk) 17:43, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- Oh duh. Not sure how I missed that.4meter4 (talk) 18:53, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
