Isn't he Austrian?

[edit]

One thing is to say, as Der Spiegel also did, that Mozart, born in Salzburg (Austria), was German, because indeed he was of German ancestry and spoke the German language in a time when no "Germany" in the sense of the current State existed. However, to say that this man born in 1927, who has studied and lived in Austria, is "German" is misleading.MiG-25 12:33, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He is Austrian. He lives in Munich/Germany but still is Austrian.

Film adaptations

[edit]

The main article could be improved by mentioning which of his works have been adapted to film. 216.99.219.123 (talk) 02:53, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
