The Video

[edit]

Shouldn't there be a link to the video on this page? I wouldn't know where to find it.

It says "Watch the video HERE" at the end of the video section... You can always also go to the band's website if you aren't sure... Wasakithis 19:51, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:HIGA Single.JPG

[edit]

Image:HIGA Single.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The Pillows

[edit]

Does anyone else notice that this song is reminiscent of the song "Ride on Shooting Star" by The Pillows or better known as the ending theme to FLCL?

After watching the anime and watching this video, they sound oddly alike. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.197.212.98 (talk) 23:36, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Pop culture references"

[edit]

Surely they are a bit trivial?

Theres thousands of songs that are used in adverts. What makes this so special? 77.99.186.110 (talk) 21:54, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • The video clip was imitated in Spanish TV show on Cuatro, El Hormiguero, with only 9 hours of preparation
  • The video is parodied in the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends episode "Bloo Tube" when Bloppy Pants, Fluffernutter, Billy the Squid, and Yogi Boo-Boo are filming their video for their song "Talk to the Jeans." I find this a bit hard to believe... the video wasn't released until LONG after the album. Anyone have confirmation of this?--Legoguy92 (talk) 22:15, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
