Guest list

[edit]

Does the article really gain anything by having this huge list of guests tacked on to the end of it? No other hotel article I've looked at includes such a list. With this information coming from the hotel's website, it feels self-serving and borderline advertising. Otto4711 (talk) 21:19, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the list looks like promotional copy. It would be inoffensive (and possibly interesting), though, if it could be blended into a text discussion of significant events in the hotel's history. Sources, anyone?? --Orlady (talk) 01:09, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Given the lack of negative reaction to this suggestion I've gone ahead and chipped out the guest list, leaving the prose section intact. Otto4711 (talk) 03:19, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hermitage Hotel

[edit]

As of Nov 17, 2021 the hotel’s restaurant was renamed Drusie & Darr. This accompanied a multi-million dollar redesign of the main kitchen, restaurant, and cocktail lounge. The Drusie & Darr name celebrates the happy and playful lives of two children who lived in the hotel during the 1950s-60s with their father, hotel manager Richard Hall. The hotel also entered a license agreement with internationally acclaimed chef Jean-George’s Vongerichten, who provides culinary expertise and inspiration. The former Capitol Grille and Oak Bar names are phased out completely at the Hermitage Hotel. A new cafe, The Pink Hermit, has also been added along street level near the front entrance.

The guest rooms, suites, lobby, and public areas have also have been refreshed with a lighter contemporary and luxurious look in a classic architectural setting as of 2021-2022. 2600:1004:B167:F6AC:4429:A1FE:92DF:CD4 (talk) 16:02, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
