-- "Hot corrosion" is a mechnism of "high temperature corrosion" --

This sentence has no sence. Hot corrosion is not mechanizmus of anything.

In a lot of articles published in high impact factor journals, hot corrosion (by sulphate from context) and sulfidation are considered to be synonyms. Sulfur from natrium sulfate is released and created sulfide. Therefore I do not understand why:

"others include high temperature oxidation, sulfidation" Of course sulfidation can occure by many ways, but hot corrosion by sulfate (as is described in article) is definitly sulfidation. Maybe autor thought other kind of internal sulfide creation by some other kind of "high temperature corrosion". But I do not known about any other that is generally famous.
