This topic needs sorting out, but is probably valid. Firstly Hoxun is a phonetic rendering of Hoxne. Secondly there was certainly a bishop's palace at Hoxne [1]. And there was Hoxne Priory [2] which was dissolved 1538. Charles Matthews (talk) 10:59, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for picking this up. Presumably there should be linkages of some sort between this article and Hoxne? Or should this article form a "history" section within that one? PamD 12:27, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think "see also" from Hoxne will do for the present. There are certainly some interesting issues to pick on, for the history. The connection with Edmund the Martyr, for example: was it largely an 11th century fabrication? It might be worth an article of its own. Charles Matthews (talk) 13:38, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
