Talk:Hunter Hunted (video game)

[edit]72.27.131.111 added this section, but I don't think this is suitable for an encyclopedic entry on the game. This isn't a gameFAQ or a strategy guide, so the article should not contain tips and tricks or a "moves list"—unless the game is innovative in some way that impacts the larger game development community. Feel free to discuss further here so we don't get into an edit war over this. JGerretse 17:20, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
This article currently says:
- Starsiege is set in the Earthsiege universe, which contains its predecessors Earthsiege (1994), Battledrome (1995), and Earthsiege 2 (1995), as well as action game Hunter Hunted (1996),[citation needed]
While Dynamix/Sierra did make HH and these other games, I am interested in the concept of what might link it to those other games' universes. Does anyone know? If there's overlap we can include it in Template:Tribes series I guess. Bonechamber (talk) 02:45, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- They half-ass tied in the stories; the Aliens from H/H are responsible for the alien cache on Mars, but more importantly Starsiege lore repeatedly mentions the religious figure "Jake Hunter" who according to followers saved the Earth from a race of aliens.
- Just because I looked it up: The mech in the HH screenshot on Wikipedia is likely the same HERC seen in the lower left of this image from Cyberstorm. Also, here's the Starsiege timeline. The first three bullet points are Hunter Hunted, but note that by Starsiege there is no historical evidence of what happened during the HH period (beyond it being apocalyptic) so all of the story is considered religious.
