[edit]Does anyone think this episode might have been inspired by the Ray Bradbury short story and Twilight Zone episode I Sing the Body Electric?
Trivia
[edit]If Hand Crafters is an obvious parody of LensCrafters then why is it on the trivia list? Like it says, it IS obvious...
- Well, I'VE never heard of LensCrafters, so it wasn't obvious to me. And besides, obvious or not, it's still trivia.
- The list needs to be divided into a trivia section (containing interesting or less well known facts) and a references section (containing a list of pop culture references from the episode) I've done this to most of the episodes however the last time this one was on TV I was on vacation and couldn't work on it, feel free to help improve the article by beginning this work. See the wikiproject for other ways you can help. Stardust8212 12:51, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
Fry's Hands
[edit]In the series finale, Fry is inept at the holophoner due to his stupid hands. Could this be due to his original hands being bitten off by the t-rex?
No, because in episode 302, he is seen playing the holophonor extremely badly just before the end.--Orthologist 16:31, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Alien Bidder
[edit]I believe the sign actually says "667" and not "666". It's pretty clear that the last alien character is not the same as the first two. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.199.199.89 (talk) 05:57, August 26, 2007 (UTC)
I,Robot
[edit]While this episode came out long before the movie, does anyone know if this episode is a reference to the book by Asimov? seems strange also to those who have seen I,Robot, that the army of Lucy Liu's attack a city just like in the movie. Could be considered a cultural reference? Angel of Anubis (talk) 06:46, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Notes for article improvement
[edit]For future reference this might be relevant: "You’ve done a lot of television animation for “King of the Hill” and “Futurama.” Can you give us a rundown of who you voiced on those shows and compare doing TV show animation with film?" Hopefully there are some more tidbits like this which could be made into a reasonable article eventually. Stardust8212 03:19, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Boids of the Wattah
[edit]written on the Brooklyn Aquarium sign. What's that supposed to mean? Are the boids the tentacles? -92.226.151.26 (talk) 19:23, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- I'm going to guess that that's just Brooklynese for "birds of the water." Wareh (talk) 04:01, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
