Twitter message notability

Greetings, all. The widely reported event of the Casillas tweet that caused strong reactions worldwide seems to some editors to be "trivial", i.e. non-notable, as the article's history shows. The relevant information gets continuously removed. A discussion would hopefully help clarify and resolve the issue.
