ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL PUNE?????

[edit]

Hey what about APS pune? It's The Best APS in the country(won that title) and I think it deserves a spot on Wikipedia —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 220.224.51.21 (talkcontribs).

I've trimmed this article to include a list of known (to me) Army Public Schools. I don't think APS Pune, Kolkata or others need details. It'll make the article very very long. Even they're not mentioned in Kendriya Vidyalayas.--Victor D PARLE 21:41, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FaLGSHIP SCHOOL

The society is run by a law book called "RED BOOK", do you know about it?

[edit]

Hello readers, I am sorry to inform you all that the mighty organisation known as Army Public school has motto "TRUTH IS GOD" which is contradictory to its functions. The school is governed by a book called "RED BOOK" which is made by the organisation itself. It has rulings indifferent from the governments service policies. Some of the points worth mentioning is as follows (i) There is a provision of ACR(Annual confidential Report) for the staff which is never shown to them whereas in government organisations its called APR(Annual performance Report) which is shown to the staff every year. (ii) There is Favoritism in granting selection Grades to the chosen staff with such policies which discourages the motivation of other staff whereas in government organisations its is mandatory on the basis of time scale. (iii)The school restricts Paternity leave and gives only 3 months leave to mothers after the birth of child whereas there is a provision of 15 days paternity leave to fathers and 6 months leave to mothers, moreover there is no child care leave is APS. (iv)The salary varies from school to school in different commands. The salary is negotiable as Authorities discourage salary hike. (v) The construction of building in some schools( Like APS Meerut) is questionable both in terms of Quality and approved costs. (vi) The school is now "Government aided school" but no facility shows it as Government aided school.

There are so many shortcomings in their policies. If you know some kindly add here.
