Non-invasive

[edit]

It seems to me that not all of those listed on this page are "Invasive species" in the main sense of the term. Should this page therefore me modified? Discuss... —GRM (talk) 20:58, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, let's rename it "introduced species" in order to keep it fact based rather than the subjective term of invasive Matthewcgirling (talk) 21:35, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

POV wording of sections of original article

[edit]

I have amended the first two sections of this article (which originally bore too great a resembalance to an enviromentalist sermon agianst introduced species) to firstly neutralise the language and secondly improve the references.

I really disliked the paragraph

Whether you are interested in the environment or not, the problems caused by invasive non-native species affect us all. For a start, they cost us billions of pounds - in the region of £2 billion every single year in Britain alone.

in the original article.

Thank you, that was an improvement. Chipmunkdavis (talk) 17:24, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
