New Comment on Article
[edit]Hello Wikipedians,
I wanted to comment on the fact that Islam and Soccer are so connected, yet this topic is not talked about very much. Why do you think it is not? What makes someone edit a Wikipedia article or not? I hope more people continue to edit this page as time goes on. It is important to talk about the relationship between the religion and sport to help bring the two together.

Islam in Association Football Talk Page
[edit]Hello Wikipedians,
I am a college student editing this page as my course project. As a huge football (soccer) fan, I was very intrigued by how professional players at the highest level managed to continue their fast during Ramadan while competing in one of the most demanding competitions in the world, UEFA Champions League. While I give them my respect for persisting to their beliefs, I am uncertain as to whether it could be safe for the players to do so. I am no expert in this field, but it seems inevitable that the injury risks skyrockets when a player plays without breaking the fast. What do you guys think about this?Jahn82 (talk) 02:16, 9 November 2019 (UTC)

I agree that the risk of injury is significantly increased. What should be done about this in your opinion regarding player safety? — Preceding unsigned comment added by WillJB185 (talk • contribs) 19:54, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
