Jean Marc
[edit]Hi there folks: I got some very old Justice League issues wherein J.M is creditted as "Jean Marc DeMatteis", since there is a "redirection page" pointing at this page I was wondering is "Jean Marc" his birth name and John Marc a pen name or is it just the other way round: John Marc the real thing and Jean Marc a temporarily used nome de plume of his? Is there anyone around who knows? --Zsasz 13:03, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Comic book credits often have this sort of silliness. Stan Lee's middle name isn't "The Man". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.237.207.191 (talk) 05:38, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

Please fix pronunciation of "DeMatteis"
[edit]In a YouTube video titled Writing Comics with JM DeMatteis - Elseworlds Exchange Podcast, DeMatteis confirms that the correct pronunciation of his name is dee-muh-TAY-iss, and not duh-MAT-iss. 67.83.99.134 (talk) 21:11, 11 September 2021 (UTC)corpho
