Tag bombing
[edit]The page is full of tags which are so old, they probably arent even up to date now and can be remvoed. The only tags I would leave are: The neutrality tag on the top of the page (Verification - April 2016) and the Neutrality tag (also on the top) (October 2014). I will make some edits on the page to update it and resolve the issues if possible.Unless anyone believes the other tags should stay,I will remove them..
Cheers. WikiEditCrunch (talk) 08:42, 20 August 2017 (UTC)
After reviewing changes since this comment was made and since the tags were added, I agree that the COI and advertisement tags can go. I am removing them now since it looks like the previous user never circled back to make the changes. 2606:A000:494C:EC00:A5F0:1C4:C6A1:B70E (talk) 13:57, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
I've edited the page further to try to resolve the remaining issues. I've left the neutrality flag for the Criticism section for now to ensure that others agree with the edits I made. 2606:A000:494C:EC00:218C:CE8C:5F9C:194C (talk) 19:14, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
I don't know what you mean by neutral but I received an unsolicited phone call from 801-729-6832. It identified itself as "J2 Global Communications" in caller ID. What in the hell are they up to and why are they calling me? I am not on Facebook and block them with my PAC filter completely. By that I mean that I block any host name that has the pattern "facebook" in it. I am also not on Twitter, LinkedIn, nor Google+. In fact, I am not on any broad scope social service. Now I realize that Comcast is selling my phone number to people wishing to make unsolicited sales calls. But both DirectTV and Dish Networks would do the same thing. Paradoxically, both of them have also called me. I suppose Comcast is forced to tell DirectTV and Dish Networks so that they can call me because of some federal law. But what is J2 Global Communications up to with little ole me? The remaning issue for me is just what the hell does this organization do other than the things in their blurb about services provided? I don't think I am the lone stranger in wanting this kind of information. IOW, why are they calling me? My ringer is now turned off and I use the phone only for calling out. I have very good reasons for doing this, trust me. If you knew more about hypnosis you would understand my concerns. Yes, you can be hypnotized over the phone and yes, you can be induced to do things that you would not normally do via hypnosis. hhhobbit (talk) 15:23, 14 October 2018 (UTC)
Full disclosure: I am working as a paid contributor on behalf of j2 Global. This page was recently flagged for being written like an advertisement but I'm not certain why, as the article appears to be neutrally written and does not contain any promotional links or content. Does anyone else feel that it is written like an advertisement? Mixedmediamaven (talk) 17:46, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
