The external link to the deus ex wiki is to the polish wiki. I tried to change it to the english one, but it was removed by a bot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.21.205.132 (talk) 21:56, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Aging confusion

[edit]

According to this page[1], of the Continuity Bible, JC was born naturally, to his mother, when Paul was young, not born in a vat and growth accelerated. Further pages mention his growing up. Perhaps the "inception date" and "assigned birth date" are not as much as they seem. Someone feel like firing off an email to Harvey Smith or someone similar?--Drat (Talk) 04:16, 28 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

For what it's worth, this page contains a complete list of all messages in Deus Ex, and it mentions the inconsistencies. The author of that page concludes that "based on other information found in DX datacubes, it is clear that Paul and JC Denton have been growth-accelerated and have had false memories implanted", despite information to the contrary.
It's utterly unclear which of the origins is supposed to be the correct one and what information, if any, is to be believed. I'm not sure if it's deliberate or if stories were switched halfway and not reconciled. 82.92.119.11 19:58, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If his date of inception is 2054 and the game takes place in 2052, does that mean that JC is -2 years old? --24.136.33.161 (talk) 06:33, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Invisible War

[edit]

Does anyone know which Invisible war ending is canon? It should be noted whether it is canon for his plan to succeed or for him to be killed by Alex. --68.149.181.145 23:17, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

None, probably, since there is no sequel. CP/M comm |Wikipedia Neutrality Project| 00:07, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that might be different now, because Deus Ex 3 is now in the making. Ricksal0224 03:42, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:DX2Main-2004-04-19-23-55-13.jpg

[edit]

Image:DX2Main-2004-04-19-23-55-13.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Clone of Paul?

[edit]

Where does all this stuff about JC's origins come from? It was my understanding that both JC and Paul are clones of Adam Jensen... It says here that JC is a clone of Paul. In addition, the paragraphs "Origins" and "Prior to Deus Ex" totally contradict each other. Mezigue (talk)
