Age difference

[edit]

Greetings, all. Anonymous contributors keep removing the information about the significant difference in age between the two fighters. That information, however, is far from trivial. It's as important as the information on the other physical aspects of each fighter, i.e. height, weight, record of past fights, etc. And that's how it's treated by most media, especially when the age difference is significant, as it is here (22 years). Generally speaking, a boxer hits their physical prime between the ages of 28 and 35. At 35 years of age, time starts to slowly introduce itself. From that point onwards, there is evident physical decline. Some boxers start to show their age immediately, while others take a few fights before it becomes obvious.[1] I suggest we agree to keep the age info in the article without resorting to an RfC. - The Gnome (talk) 19:00, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
