COI/POV version

[edit]

I'm concerned that this version of the article on Lavadour is written with a heavy point of view, perhaps with some conflict of interest. The inclusion of the quotes, glowing "creation process", and large list of works are not terribly encyclopedic. While there's a lot in there, it would probably be worth reverting and then having User:Missvain or others slowly add material back in a neutral fashion. tedder (talk) 00:09, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I understand your concern. My Wikipedia work has been focusing on Native American artists, and I agree, I got a little flowery on the language. I have edited down and encourage further editing if needed, of course. This is an expanded article compared to the original, btw. The use of quotes is seen throughout many articles, including artists, and I utilized Lavadour's quotes to expand on his technique and view of the creation process, however, I do know that over-use is not encyclopedic. I have removed the quotes section. Missvain (talk) 15:20, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
