The link Blackrock, Dublin goes to an article about that specific community. The link Blackrock goes to a disambiguation page that lists several possible meanings of "blackrock" and links to a meaning for each. The former sort of link is the proper one to make from an article or draft such as this. to make that display as Blackrock we can use a "piped link" which looks like this in the wiki-code:

[[Blackrock, Dublin|Blackrock]]

This is a very general technique where we want the display text for a link to be different from the name of the page linked to. DES (talk) 21:56, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Images

[edit]

An image or two would be nice. Are any of Le Jeune's works available under a free license? I don't think any would be out of copyright yet. We could only do fair use for images of works significantly discussed in the article, i think. Also, are there an decent pictures of Le Jeune himself? Since he is dead, no new free images could be created, and fair use is more plausible, IMO. DES (talk) 16:55, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Irish times sources

[edit]

It appears that the archives of the Irish Times are behind a paywall, so not all editors will have access. That is unfortunate. However, Google cache links are notoriously unstable and are generally to be avoided if at all possible. If the editor who added the refs, or any othr editor, has access through the paywall, please post the actual link, using Google as an archive url, perhaps. Also, please use the quote= parameter of the cite template to give a quote from the content that supports or helps support the item cited to the source. This will allow all editors to see the quote.
