This is my first article; edits and feedback appreciated. I was living in the neighborhood where Swann killed his victims in 1993, and it was a big deal that year. I also later worked as a law student at Saint Elizabeth's, where Swann is a patient. I will probably come back and edit the article to link his attacks to the later DC Sniper attacks, which created much the same feeligns in the city because of the similar m.o. --Mrnorwood (talk) 15:55, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I thought it was well written, if maybe a little sparse. I just tracked it down after hearing about Swann's plea today to be released for a 12 hour visit with his father and wanted to be reminded as to how the MPD caught him -- something about an off-duty officer being alert or something? Well done article. In these days of terrorist attacks and random drive by shootings by people who have no motive or mental illness, it is good to document earlier cases like this. Others should add also-see of similar cases such a DC sniper which as also African Americans disillusioned about US policies Bachcell (talk) 14:37, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
