National Weather Map requested
Does anyone have a national weather map for one of the days affected, like this? Lugevas (talk) 21:14, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
- I don't think those are archived. I might be able to find something like the one on 2014–15 North American winter though. I'll check. Dustin (talk) 21:17, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Lugevas: The best I have found so far (that is official) is actually a video: http://www.nnvl.noaa.gov/MediaDetail2.php?MediaID=1276&MediaTypeID=3&ResourceID=104730 (direct link to playable .mp4 video). I may look more in a bit. Dustin (talk) 21:24, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Dustin V. S.: Thanks for finding that video! Could it be incorporated into the page? Lugevas (talk) 19:11, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
General winter details
A large amount of this article is made up of details pertaining to the North American winter as a whole. I believe that many of these details could be used to augment/improve 2013–14 North American winter. Thoughts? Dustin (talk) 02:19, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
There were few details (just a few sentences) pertaining to the December cold wave, so I moved them to the main winter article. In the meantime, many other general winter details could also be moved to 2013–14 North American winter as well. I hope nobody objects to the action on my part. Dustin (talk) 02:40, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
As the only 2013 details left in the article seem to be general winter details that shouldn't be here anyway, I will move this article back to its former title. Dustin (talk) 02:51, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
It looks like at least part of the Extended cold section would be better off as part of the season article. Not all cold in the 2014 section of winter 2013–14 can be attributed to this cold wave, and not all of these details are even in 2014. Dustin (talk) 00:47, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
