will this page make a mention of the mini mammoth phenomenon? --French line 15:53, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe if the "phenomenon" lasts for more than a couple of weeks! -- Chuq 03:56, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jay and Lindsay people in their own rights?

[edit]

Surely someone [maybe the boys themselves] could add their own pages? Having one joint page concentrating only on their on-air careers seems fairly limited as they've done far more than just radio on JJJ?

I'll try to make a point of suggesting it on their guestbook. Shaybear 06:32, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The boys themselves shouldn't be writing their own articles. First, because of Wikipedia's No auto-biographies guideline - second as much as the guys are great, the mini-mammoth incident shows that they shouldn't be encouraged on to Wikipedia (IMHO that is)!! The reason they don't have separate articles is because, they would mostly be identical - they are best known for Frenzal Rhomb and Triple J which are both things they have been involved in together. Certainly add a few lines about individual notable/verifiable events in this article - and if it gets too big they can be split up into their own. -- Chuq 07:31, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Point taken - I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens. Shaybear 02:42, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Obviously things have changed a bit since this conversation! For those not up to speed, the breakfast show is now hosted by Robbie, Marieke and the Doctor. I suggest an article Triple J Breakfast Show which includes all the past and present incantations (Robbie, Marieke & the Dr / Myf Jay & Dr / Jay & Dr / Adam & Wil / Mikey & Helen, etc etc) and then create articles about Jay Whalley and Lindsay McDougall about the individuals. -- Chuq (talk) 05:58, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The 666th Battalion

[edit]

I added a bit to this section, really I think it deserves something a bit bigger... probably not its own page (although that wouldn't be a bad idea), but maybe its own section of this page. I think it's definitely one of the highlights of the show.

Are they really impersonating Safran? I thought it was actually him from the parts I had heard before.

Myf is joining the duo next year

[edit]

Myf Warhurst is joining Jay and the Doctor next year and I've just heard the show advertised as "Myf, Jay, and the Doctor". So I guess this article should move when they return. Or should we start a new article for the trio? --Imroy 00:57, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
