"Controversy" over Kinsler?
[edit]The paragraph about Maddon managing in the 2009 All-Star Game is dominated by a "controversy" over not picking Ian Kinsler for the team. Can't say I ever knew of such a kerfuffle, personally. Is it really such a big deal that it needs to be given that much space? It reads like it was written by a jilted Kinsler fan. Sliver7 (talk) 21:51, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
Better images
[edit]http://www.flickr.com/search/advanced/?q=Joe%20Maddon Tick the three commons licence boxes at the bottom and you will find far better images. I can help upload or you can use http://wikipedia.ramselehof.de/flinfo.php --Canoe1967 (talk) 20:30, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
- That's done. The current one wasn't that bad actually, though Keith Allison's photos are always improvements. Wizardman 05:13, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
- Should we create a category for Mr. Allison over there, or does he already have one? I am more a hockey fan than other sports that is why I let the baseball folk decide which image to use. Daryl Katz lives near me and has a poor image in his article. I may just knock on his door with my camera and see if he wants a better image of him and any on his team.--Canoe1967 (talk) 16:18, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, there are multiple categories on Wikimedia Commons for his images. In fact, they're even divided by sport, since he has photos of baseball, basketball, football, etc. Delaywaves • talk 21:39, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Proposed change to Trout's position
[edit]I propose removing the entire paragraph about the proposed change to Trout's position prior to the 2022 season as it was only considered for 24 hours and didn't actually happen. --Jameboy (talk) 21:07, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
