Depiction of Ozma
[edit]One of the reasons for the realistic and modernized portrayal of Ozma and other Oz characters was that Neill was using real models. For many years, the model for Ozma was his niece, Roberta Neill and the model for Dorothy, her sister Ann Marie Neill. (John R. Neill was my great-great-uncle, Roberta my paternal grandmother and Ann Marie my great aunt.
Please contact me for confirmation. terry@terryirving.com. I know I'm not familiar with the protocols of Wikipedia but I wanted to get this information in and would appreciate any help. Art Nouveau
[edit]Shouldn't the term Art Nouveau be somewhere in this article? --76.115.67.114 (talk) 07:07, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Official website?
[edit]JohnRNeill.net is largely a gallery of reproductions for sale. It has been called "Official website" manually, which I entered in Wikidata and annotated here in section External links.
I don't know that it should be considered official, as maintained by one granddaughter – even if John R Neill, Illustrator and/or The Royal Illustrator of Oz are properties in her official inheritance. --P64 (talk) 17:57, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
