Iowa
[edit]Is it significant that JRJR lived in Iowa for a time, working out of his home there and mailing his work back and forth through express mail? I'm not sure what the industry standard was, but he was my neighbor for a time... if not significant, please disregard. -- nae'blis (talk) 05:48, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
Infobox image
[edit]I've restored the image that shows the subject clearly without obstructions blocking his face and foreground clutter. This long-stable image was unilaterally replaced, without discussion, by an editor spamming his often-inferior photos throughout Wikipedia, with his name self-promotionally in the filename. --Tenebrae (talk) 15:26, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
Article title
[edit]An editor appears to have retitled the article without discussion. Given that the article itself does not include a comma in his name — and that he himself does not, per text at his official site, this seems incorrect. At the very least, it needed to be discussed. --Tenebrae (talk) 23:21, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
Page restored to this original title
[edit]Since John Romita Jr.'s own website that he spells his name without a comma — and since John Romita Sr. likewise uses no comma, as per Marvel.com, the ComicBookDB, the UHMCC and every other source — an admin has restored the original, comma-less titles to both articles, which had been changed wthout discussion. --Tenebrae (talk) 05:07, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
Alma mater
[edit]It should be mentioned that John Romita Jr. is a graduate of Farmingdale State College.
He's listed as alumni on the Farmingdale State College wikipedia page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.120.3.38 (talk • contribs) 02:33, 13 January 2016
- Unless there's a cite on the Farmingdale State College page or this page to bolster that claim, we can't include it on either page. --Tenebrae (talk) 21:08, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
- I found a cite and added this to both pages. --Tenebrae (talk) 21:19, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
