NPOV tag

[edit]

I've tagged the article as NPOV for its basic advocacy of this approach toward men caught soliciting prostitutes and its failure to include perspectives critical of that approach, which are numerous. I've changed some of the more egregiously NPOV statements, like "educating men about the realities of prostitution". At some point, I (or some other editor) will expand this article to draw on more sources and report the issue more neutrally, but in the meantime, the tag should stay up. -Iamcuriousblue 21:04, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article now includes perspectives critical of the approach, so I think 12 years after this tag was put up, there has been enough improvement to this article that it is pretty neutral and we can remove the tag. Aroundthewayboy (talk) 00:15, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. I've also changed the class from stub to start in view of how much the article has expanded. --John B123 (talk) 17:31, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Gender

[edit]

"courts may sentence men to attend a john school": does this mean that only people who belong to this gender can be sentenced to attend these schools? Apokrif (talk) 16:40, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
