Simplify Lead section
[edit]Suggesting to simplify the lead section as it is long and confusing to read. Some of the items in the lead section could be removed and added into the main subsections — Preceding unsigned comment added by TruthHunterLe (talk • contribs) 08:16, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
Went ahead and attempted to reorganize the lead section and the subsections. Feel free to suggest reversals. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TruthHunterLe (talk • contribs) 10:05, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
Is he Johnson or Johnstone
[edit]the title to this page needs to be edited to show the correct spelling of Muthama's first name. It is "Johnston", not Johnson. ~~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.22.243.139 (talk) 14:19, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Mixed use of Johnson and Johnstone
[edit]There appear to be media outlets that refer to him as Johnson and others referring to him has Johnstone. As such thinking is that media sources are not reliable. His social media pages and official records are likely to be more reliable. Below are social media pages associated with the politician.
- Twitter: @nduyamuthama - Sen. Johnson Muthama. Notably, this twitter account is not verified
- Facebook: There are numerous Facebook pages purporting to be of the politician such as this one. While it is difficult to verify the correct one, all of them use Johnson and not Johnstone.
There is also mixed-use of the two names in court documents such as the following
- civil application of 2016 using Johnson
- court petition of 2015 using Johnstone
