I have a photo of the pelicans at the BirdPark and will upload it to the commons when the article gets a little longer, or if someone requests it. --Commander Keane 00:40, 26 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

History

[edit]

There was obviously an earlier version of the Bird Park. When I visited Singapore in 1954, there was one walk-in aviary on the side of the hill, plus numerous large cages on the flat below. It was very impressive, even then. 00:24, 11 November 2012 (UTC)~ Lou Segaloff 11-11-2012 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.151.72.174 (talk)

Too technical ?

[edit]

I can't see anything too technical? Considering the dozens of medical pages we have here that are WAY over most people's heads, I can't imagine why somebody put that up here.

Wrong name for article

[edit]

On 13 October 2021, it was indeed announced that a new name 'Bird Paradise' would be used. This was also announced with its counterparts for River Wonders. However, the new name for the bird park is not referring to the current one over in Jurong, and is actually referring to the future one in Mandai opening in 2022. Hence, I do not believe that this article be renamed just yet and should retain its former name that is currently in use. Sgwikicontributor (talk) 12:48, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
