Notability

[edit]

There is no hint of notability here whatsoever. Unless there are reliable sources out there. Unless something miraculously materializes in the next few days, Carrioza's 15 minutes are done. - Mdsummermsw (talk) 16:19, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:MUSIC: "Most songs do not merit an article and should redirect to another relevant article, such as for a prominent album or for the artist who wrote or prominently performed the song."[emphasis added] I think a bold redirect is in order; I'm just not sure whether to redirect to HSM3, where the song's video will be shown in the credits, or to the reality show. —C.Fred (talk) 16:45, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Problem with a redirect for this one is that Just Getting Started is a perfectly legitimate song article. To redirect, first we would have to move this one to a place that made sense, then redirect from that, and disambiguate from Just Getting Started. Or an admin could ignore all rules and delete this thing, even though it isn't an A7.—Kww(talk) 17:23, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I understand the reasoning for a redirect in most cases. I don't see it here. Near as I can tell, the song hasn't been released as a single, so it doesn't seem to be a logical search term. No one is going to hear the song without knowing it was from the TV show. What am I missing? - Mdsummermsw (talk) 17:34, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not much ... that's the dilemna with move this one to a place that made sense. I don't think there is one.—Kww(talk) 17:36, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, Just Getting Started is an article about a Loverboy album. There is a title track, which means if we keep this article, it almost needs to be a dab between the Loverboy song and the Carrioza song. Oy. Anyway, I think this article is a good faith creation, so I won't delete it G3. I've crossed edit histories with the article's creator before, so I don't feel independent enough to hit the delete button myself. (I would endorse the deletion under either WP:IAR or WP:SNOW, though.) So right now, I'm thinking PROD the article. —C.Fred (talk) 19:43, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
