Areas to Update
[edit]He's not a current state senator and hasn't been for multiple years now — I'm not sure why this page still indicates that he is? He is also now 30 years old, and no longer the youngest out gay legislator in the United States, in addition to not being part of the cohort of gay state legislators in Maine. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:7081:707:571D:9D22:C34F:E01F:5C9F (talk) 15:30, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
Areas to Remove
[edit]Even after rewriting from a NPOV, there are some sections of this article that I can't see as compliant with Biographies of living persons policy. I've bolded details I see as fundamentally conflicting with a NPOV as they're irrelevant:
- "Based on his media efforts in high school, Chenette was selected as a Gannett Journalism Scholar for two consecutive years in 2009 and 2010.[5] After interning at WPFO FOX 23 in Portland, Maine in 2011, Chenette was offered a job created as the assistant morning producer of their news program, Good Day Maine. Chenette worked on developing new segments and booked various entertainment and informative guests for the show. He also updated FOX's website on the weekends as web producer."
- The entirety of the business section (no need to even paste it here)

[edit]User:Jmc0423 has made several edits to this page and significantly expanded unsourced content. The subject of the article also happens to have the initials JMC. 0423 may refer to April 23, Chenette's birthday. There appears to be some significant issues around conflicts in interest in this article that I would like to see editors other than myself address.--TM 20:13, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
- Agreed, doesn't seem as if these issues have been fixed. I'll try to clean it up! ClaudeDavid (talk) 13:11, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
