FCC License
[edit]I'm not finding any record of KAFA in the FCC database. Is this an unlicensed station? Does it actually broadcast on 97.7?--Rtphokie (talk) 15:43, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure government-run (Air Force Academy is run by the government) radio stations fall under a different regulation committee than the FCC. I used to be the Program Director there and I know that we respected FCC rules and probably went above and beyond (no cursing, period). However, I'm pretty sure frequency management is done through the Department of Defense. (formerKAFApd) 21:51:33, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
